Hi all
Is it possible, without dismantling a laptop to use it as a monitor for an OS4 machine.
At present there are no native OS4 laptops but I was wondering could I have my Sam440 next to me plugged into an old laptop so I can it as a monitor/keyboard combo?
Some of the early Sam440 boards had an LVDS connector built in. If your board has it you should be able to connect the screen direct to the Sam, though I'm not sure if the OS4 driver will output via the connector. If your board doesn't have LVDS or you can't get it working you can get a cheap DVI to LVDS converter so you can use the screen for out put from the Sam.
The keyboard is going to be a bit trickier but a quick google has revealed that people have converted laptop keyboards to USB. If your not familiar with electronics you'll need to find someone to do it for you.

I'm wondering if a laptop can be used as an output device for an Amiga? I suppose without a VGA input of some sorts it wouldn't. Or some sort of TV input adaptor.
