@Toaks

You could try the Virtual GP Yahoo Group which I mentioned in my message here. That's where I asked him about OS4 version of VGP2.

I can post a message there, but what do I say? That there is a OS4 SDK for Mac, but how does one get hold of that? What is the procedure for becoming OS4 developer (if you don't have A1 and OS4 Pre-Release)? Is there some contact person address we can deliver to Paolo?

If maybe you could give either Toaks or myself his e-mail address we can give him some info and/or pass on to the OS4 developer team that he/they are interested in developing for OS4 and require the Mac SDK for OS4!

@sicky

I don't have Paolo's email address as the VirtualGP Yahoo Group hides the email addresses (YG standard policy I believe). Anyway, I have send him personal email through the group, telling him about the Mac SDK and asking him to check out this discussion

Well done that man

Hopefully it will arouse some interest on his part, who knows we may end up with Amiga OS4 & Morph OS (better to get sales from both and not do a Titan) versions of this very competant looking racer.

Just as a side note as soon as my spanking new iMac (G5) arrives I will be ordering the Mac version for myself anyway. But I would get a far greater "kick" by being able to play it on my AmigaOne

@all

If it isn't too late, you can forward him to me (info@soft3.net)
Maybe, if he is really interested, we can reach an agreement about a low-cost or free microA1 developer board complete with SDK

Ciao

@m3x

The game looks great and would be nice to have for OS4.

If he's interested in doing an OS4 version we should bring back the "sponsor a programmer" idea, I think many here would contribute to pay for the hardware.

I'm a little tired of the 1st person shooters, so a racing game would be cool

Excellent!

I forwarded your offer to him via the VirtualGP Yahoo Group - here's hoping he is interested and you two can make a deal

Excellent, it gets better. Lets hope he takes you up on the offer, I will offer some space in our magazine Total Amiga to promote the game should he pick up the gauntlet!

"Yeah, we need advertising! It is never enough"

Well it's the best I can do for a worthy cause

Our advertising rates at Total Amiga http://www.totalamiga.org/advertise.html are cheap, but for something like this I will put my hand in my pocket and pay for the advert myself.

We have in the region of 600 subscribers (and growing all the time) in 20 or so countries which doesn't sound a lot, but they are all "dedicated Amigans" rather than people with a passing interest so they are the people you would want to make aware of your products.

Yeah, I know what you mean, those people would pay for a game like that, and I'd do the same thing.. you're doing a great job man, keep up the good work!

"Yeah, I know what you mean, those people would pay for a game like that, and I'd do the same thing"

Let's hope there is enough of a potential market out there for him to port it and get some decent (in Amiga terms) sales for his troubles, good software be it games or applications is worth parting with money for!

"you're doing a great job man, keep up the good work!"

Thanks, we (all those involved) try our best in.. let's say "slender times", we appreciate any feedback in whatever flavour it comes

Just got this game to play on my new G5 iMac

Got to sort myself out a decent controller to use with it, any ideas?

Just one little thing...
This game was similar to the GREAT F1GP4?
I played it some times and it REALLY GREAT!
Thank you.

@ All

I`ve just registered on the Mac site for the company (http://www.vpltd.com/), where you can send an e-mail to them. I've just done so, registering my interest in this game and also a port of any of their other programs which they may wish to port to AOS 4.x. If enough of us do so, it may just prompt a bit of interest on their part.
