Congratulations to all of the MorphOS Development Team for this milestone accomplishment.

This is a huge release jump from the previous MorphOS2.7 version and includes many new features and improvements. Of course the one feature that is most notable is the support for a few of the G4 PowerBook models, which gives MorphOS users their first experience on a portable MorphOS compatible computer platform.

Let me know if it is Champagne, or Beer that you Development Team members want to celebrate with and where I can send the donation to, so you can all go out and have at least one drink on me!

Edit: (posted from my X1000 wirelessly, using my NetGear WNCE2001-100NAR connected to my WLAN and the X1000's (PCI card) Ethernet port.)

I hope there are still some Efika users willing to buy MorphOS, it's worth every cent of this reduced price.

im not extremely concerned about this news, even though i think that it is a solid evidence that morphos is doing well. i will likely never come to test or use it except someone will throw a free powerbook my way.

great news & great price for those that have an old apple notebook lying around.

I told an old mac head friend of mine to try it out as he was interested in seeing AspireOS running on my little netbook when he was by my place a few weeks ago but he didnt have a compatabile notebook...now he has no excuse to try a NG Amiga system on his Powerbook

And another one of them resides in the antarctic.

Good job! Nice to see so many new features and improvements.

Wish I had a powerbook or Power MAC G4 so I could test it out!
