Sounds fair enough, I can live without CAM for a month, we should have a much better present arriving soon

Might be because the OS4 beta is released in January or february and this CAM has allready lots of info about it (and getting even more) which makes releasing this CAM impossible till then.

Might be.

I think it is normal that it is released in februari because,
if this cam would come out in the first week of januari and
you add 2 weeks for the holidays then you would have the
cam in the tirth week of januari, so adding 1 or 2 weeks
is realy not that bad.

Happy New Year to all.

I think the real reason is that there is nothing to report!

Maybe they can get back on schedule now and put a little meat into the cam. It has been getting a bit thin in recent months!

However, in my view it is very bad pratice to wait until the very last second to say they are not going to deliver the goods.

Well, let's just hope that in Feb it's not announced that it will become every other month.

Make sure to make your comments known to the CAM editor! There is an email address or two in every CAM issue requesting feedback.

Hey, this is the first I heard about the delay and I'm one of the contributors! I know I have been stealing time from my family duties to test more AmigaOne/OS4 software and get my part completed so this delay is very much appreciated.

FYI, I've been seeing OS components and critical bug fixes appearing throughout the holidays. Never fear, the OS4 development team has never stopped working behind the scenes.

Besides, the developer pre-release of AmigaOS 4.0 for the AmigaOne is just around the corner anyway. I know I'd prefer to have working software over a progress report from Ben Hermans any day. No offence to Ben.

What does this have to do with the price of tea in china!

Besides, Ben couldn't code his way out of a wet paper sack

How long do you think it takes to write a paragraph or 2 ( .... NOT LONG .... )

Personally, I wont care as much about the CAM when I have OS 4.0 on my A1. Once the initial buzz wears off It'll be good to read again, but the prerelease is going to keep me going for awhile.

(Edit: put smilies were appropriate)
