Software News   Software News : NEW PicShow!
posted by cYbo on 21-Jan-2004 2:20:57 (2230 reads)
This program is meant to be configured as picture viewer in directory tools like DirOpus or DosControl. It shows the doubleclicked picture in a borderless window on the specified custom screen.

The remarkable about this program is that it reads the whole directory the picture is in and you can then choose other pictures out of this directory from a menu or by pressing the cursor keys... For more infos and download Check

Weird... these things has allways worked great for me. I had a problem with ClassAction crashing on me though but this was caused by a missconfiguration and I belive it's fixed in the latest version. Picshow works great here and is a very nice pice of software.

I've been using PicShow for ages now & I have to put a couple of requests in.

It's contantly being plugged that it displays images in a borderless window. How about an option to have borders? Either 1, 2, or 3 pixel borders?

And is there any chance of seeing PicShow use a PIP display, scaling with interpolation even on an 060 with a Voodoo takes a long time. Using PIP it's done in realtime. It'll probably be fine on an A1 with OS4, but as it stands it ain't arf a chore.

Cheers, FuZion.

You already can for at least the last 2 version.

The interpolation is much faster in the lastest version and i do mean much faster but PIP would be cool.
