Events   Events : OS4 Prerelease Parties are over ... And ...
posted by shoe on 20-Jun-2004 17:34:53 (4962 reads)
... The winner of the Wild compo is: Fredrik of Syntax Society, with his Boing-Mobile. He was the only one done by the deadline, that's why there was no vote here on AW like announced earlier.

We had a great time, and I wish to thank everyone involved. And a big thanks to Hans-Joerg for the OS4 update/Q&A! For more information about the other contests and more pictures check out www.acggbg.org

The blurred number plate comes out in the thumbnail - DZM 59W (perhaps N instead of M)...

Congrats!

It is propably 599, since regular plates consist of 3 letters-3numbers in Sweden.

Congratulations to Fredrik

I only got to Kävlinge myself this weekend...

Another quite interesting thing at this party was that the "Burstroem Brothers" popped by to have a look at the mA1 and have a chat with Amigans in the area. They also gave us an interesting update about IBrowse among other things.

All in all, it was a very nice and relaxed event that turned out to be quite international when bobson (UK), nbache (DK), PedeFUP (DK) and Troels_E (DK) along with all the Swedish Amigans had a good time together checking out OS4 and trying Freespace OS4 native and ofcourse, having a barbeque and drinking a beer or two.

Wasn't it Datalätt or some other amiga reseller at the time, but then it got sold to someone else. Don't know who bought it though. But it wasn't boing checked, it was the black Amiga checks.

Now, take a look at the moster that Syntax has living in their basement!

Save me as ...

It wasn't a Camaro, it was a Trans-AM:

I think the man posing with it is Petro T btw.
Not sure though.
