@ ikir

Jep

Have You seen the grab Vader made... I think the Russian Amiga users will be happy to be able to see the cyrillic charset while browsing

@all

OK, I must be particularly dense, or maybe there is still something not working with IBrowse, as I cannot figure out how to upload a screenshot? There's no link that I can see for uploading a screenshot, just for submitting news, downloads, or web links. And I suspect problems with IBrowse 2.3 because I could not submit a post/comment!!

@Toaks

I have a problem with my host

But the upload worked (all three of them). I have made the thumnail mannually, and deleted the extra two (have them stored, but they looked the same).

it is great looking indead

I will try to fix the little host problem (the server will not make thumbnails of large images, so I need to make them myself) ASAP.

@ DWolfman

You have to chose the category for uploading (the operating system), there you should be able to uplad the picture.

If it comes with an error (B-one something) has it not made the thumbnail, but the rest should have worked (I will make the thumbnail when I see the problem).

Looking forward to see your screenshot

@ turkamigaman

You should be able to make a vote to every image ... This is to show how you like the screenshot shown.

OK, I figured out why I can't post over there and can on Amigaworld.net (both of you are using Xoops).

You need to change the code for the "Preview" and "Submit" buttons and add the text "class='button'" in after the "type='submit'" part. I found this by comparing the source page code at AW.net with this very page I'm using right now. This should submit because I edited the source in IB's source display window and updated it.

Hopefully you can get this fixed soon. Also, though I have not looked at this just yet, you should probably look at the code for the preview/submit and Go buttons for item comments, as they also don't work here but do work for me on AW.net.

I also uploaded three screenshots.

(most of the above originally wasn't going to be posted here)

Apparently the "fix" I tried from inside IBrowse didn't work, as it still won't let me submit anything in the forums.

Thanks for posting.

Will try to fix it ASAP, but I think it has to wait till after my wedding (next saturday).

Is it only in the forum, or is it everywhere?

I have now updated the forum.

BTW I am now using XooPs, I am using RunCMS

Have tested the forum with AWeb APL, and found no problem, hope it works for you now.

Well, it still doesn't work.

The cancel button does, and all I can see different is the type value is button instead of submit from the other two? I'll compare it again with what is here at AW.net in a bit.

I'm still seeing some differences. Now what is even weirder is on AW.net there are no longer any "class='button'" tags in there! It must be something else that's keeping it from working, maybe something in the Javascript? I know IBrowse tends to be more strict about it than AWeb, as there are many websites that work on AWeb or Voyager and don't work on IBrowse.

Thing is I only have IBrowse right now.

Has any one else been able to post comments or forum messages on your page with IBrowse? It's possible that I may have something wrong in my setup, as I do have a similar problem with my bank's online banking site (it does work for others on OS4, yet it only works for me under OS3.9 on my old emulated setup).

In fact, I'm going to go try this on my old setup later.

@ DWolfman

Is it only the forum, or is it also in the gallery?

The forum is working with AWeb APL (on my machine). Will download IBrowse and try to see if I can fix it.

@hnl

I've just tested under IB2.3 and IB2.4beta and both are posting just fine to the forums.

@DWolfman

I'm sure something is screwy with your config :( Can you try posting under 3.9 again - if that also works like it does with your bank, then your config must be playing up - only question is what :-/ Can you do a completely fresh install of 2.3, and try again using the default IB config - at least we will then have a base level to start checking things against.

I just made a test with IBrowse 2.3 demo on AmigaOS 3.9

It gives an JavaScript error message that it can't determinate how long the message is, and after clicking on continue it worked.

@DWolfman

have you turned off javascript error messages?

@Vader

Is this a missing feature in the javascript implementation of IBrowse? That it is not able to determinate the length of the message.
