   posted by Duke on 12-Dec-2004 11:04:29 (1815 reads)
The Hall of Light is a comprehensive Amiga games database that is continually being updated by an international team. A new design for all pages was now introduced to celebrate its 2 year anniversary.

At the moment, the HOL consists of:

* almost 5.000 unique game pages
* more than 20.000 screenshots
* more than 10.000 scans of boxes, disks and other items
* and much more

You can find it here: http://hol.abime.net/

It's nice and everything!

I wonder though what is the cathegorization system, the "PPC" cathegory is too broad I guess. Why there is no A1 and PPC as separate cathegories? Both is PPC, true, but since the page doesn't cover OS differences, it should probably be put there, OS4 and WarpUP/PowerUP makes difference.

Kvin

Edit: Realized later that there is a separate (HW!) cathegory "Pegasos" and "Morphos", now I'm even more confused, why there is no OS4 cathegory? Instead of the "A1" cathegory I have tipped above, but even both may apply.

Great work HOL team

Must have taken a long time and much effort to collect all those thousands of screenshots!
