News   News : Amiga Club members receive T-shirts
posted by MikeB on 17-Jan-2005 15:23:54 (7165 reads)
Official announcement here.

Many people who joined the ?I am Amiga Club? in 2002 report that (after a period of well known financial difficulties surrounding Amiga Inc, before the recent takeover by KMOS Inc) these members have finally received their long delayed club shirts from Amiga Inc.

Update: HMetal pointed out that Amiga has now officially acknowledged that the T-shirts are shipping:

Quote:
(17-Jan-2005) Amiga is happy to announce the long awaited t-shirts have shipped and should be arriving as you read this message. Garry Hare, CEO of KMOS and Amiga, said, "It's about time, isn't it?"

Prior to shipping Amiga Inc. constructed as accurate a mailing list as possible.

Happy New Year - The Amiga Team

No, no, no!

I will not believe you until I have the shirt in my own hands.
It can't be that KMOS is keeping any promises...

Cheers mike for the pictures. Still waiting for mine.
Wonder if the timing has anything to do with the BBRV statement or maybe thats the conspiracy theorist in me!
Maybe CAM can be resurected

there's an old saying:
Actions speak louder than words.

Some people just do alot of talking, and posting, and blah, blah, blah.....

and some people just get to work and get things done.

.....There will be no claims related to anything done or supported in the past - that goes for Amiga Inc.

Do you really think you could you afford it?

I'm really chuffed with my shirt - well done KMOS/AInc/Whoever?

I'm sorry now that I wore out my Commodore CDTV shirt (the one with the big CD on) because they would have made a nice pair. I think this one is worth keeping as a souvenir though, because there won't be so many around.

I think I might still have mine somewhere (unworn and unwashed) - want to make me an offer?

Got my Amiga 2005 t-shirt today though - very pleased - although was half expecting something on the back of it!

Well I'll be....

I got me a t-shirt in the mail today.

How cool.

I guess now we can all be pretty sure that Mr. Hare is a man who delivers. (Never did hear him shout from any rooftops back in September though, must've done it in another town. )

Perhaps BBRV did send these T-shirts?
