Yes SCUMMVM(GPL) is on the CD- but that is free to all and you are not charged for it.
What you pay for and get are the original shrinkwrapped game files, Amiga specific installation scripts and documentation.

| I'm not lawyer of course, but I think that static linkage problem would only concern commercial CLOSED source software. ScummVM is of course GPL. |

amigakit: i wish u best of luck with sales and its a nice alternative (i looked for monkey island 3 for months upon months last year or so in order ot test it with scummVM in os4/os3.x) , anyway i might be ordering this too but not sure right now but i paid twice the price on ebay for it (new) and that didnt come with manuals on how to install on Amiga

| It`s great on the AmigaOne but the WarpOS version is too slow, especially with the speech.

helgis:u are aware of that ScummVM came to the Amiga back in 2001/2 right? , last year (september?) the first os4 public scummvm came out and in april 2005 we updated it to latest version again and so on..
Monkey island 3 and so on has been fully playable for a while, the good thing here is that amigakit has it in stock now (as its been hard to find all theese old games in shops  ... )

| I've got the PC version of Broken sword 1, and it plays just dandy on my Miggy1 with Scumm.
I did have to download the cut-scenes, from the Scumm website.

| The Amiga market won't attract any newcomers without software being available and easy to install.
Putting together Installation CDs for all these titles will broaden the appeal of the Amiga. I'll see if we can get quantities of these titles mentioned and test them out on the Amiga.

| stephen: yes i know, i tested every game it supported (thanks to all donations) back when we released scummVM in april 2005.
anyway i messed up some cds and others where sent with no case and so on so if amigakit puts out more stuff like this then i will be very interested
