And on the Weekend, Mikey C, layed his head down, sick and tired of working with Samba.

Big smiles my network is now up and running
4 windows machines (3 XP and 1 ME)
1 AmigaOne
1 A1200 Tower with OS3.9

Couple of small points Step 12 of the classic amiga section "testing the connections"
assumes you have run Genesis and connected to the relevant interface for your network connection. Since this is an "idiots" guide perhaps this should be included

Smbfs 1.71 Seems to work fine both on my AmigaOne and Classic Amiga, in fact
I can use the proper net-bios names for the Amigas on both when connecting to a secondary Amiga, perhaps this is due to smbfs 1.71 perhaps not - try it

Many thanks again Mickey I had struggled long and hard previously to achieve what your guide managed tolet me do in about and hour :)

Cheers mate, after all the hard work that it took to do, It's worth it when I get a thanks for it actually working for someone

I will re-word the Genesis ping sentance to say, Ensure that your Genesis Program is running , then use the Ping Command
