   posted by SACC-dude on 19-Jul-2005 5:08:26 (1599 reads)
Here is the eighth information release for AmiWest 2005, July 23rd, 2005 in Sacramento, California. Our webpage at www.sacc.org/amiwest is being updated with all the current show information. We encourage you to visit our site to see the rest of the current information.

LESS THAN A WEEK UNTIL AMIWEST 2005! RESERVE YOUR TICKETS NOW!!
++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

In less than a week, AmiWest 2005 will open for a dynamic show packed with
interest for Amigans. We have now sold more banquet tickets than last year
and our gate sales continue to climb. People are coming from Canada,
Illinois, Indiana, California and other points west to see and hear the
latest at AmiWest.

And you can be among them! We still have tickets for sale and, by special
arrangement, banquet tickets are still available until Monday, July 18. We
must give a final count on that day! So reserve your banquet tickets NOW!

Of course, you may purchase admission tickets at the door. We don't want
to turn anyone away! Here is a partial list of what will be happening:

-->Richard Drummond, OS4 developer, will be doing demos of his work and OS4 as
well as giving our banquet speech.

-->Bill Borsari will be webcasting interviews with OS4 developers and other
Amiga community people.

-->Software demos of the latest from Pagestream and Amiga Forever will be
featured.

-->Developing Amiga news will be breaking at AmiWest.

-->Amiga's 20th birthday will be celebrated.

-->The memory of AmiWest co-founder and SACC life member John Zacharias will
be honored.

-->Classic Amiga computer models will be on working display.

And you don't want to miss any of it! All of this will be happening plus
whatever news we can link to from AmiGBG in Sweden.

!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So remember,

AmiWest 2005 is rolling! The facility is reserved and the vendors
are notified! Keep watching for these releases and tell everyone
that you know - the Amiga and the Amiga community is alive and
well!
