posted by Kicko on 5-Oct-2005 11:01:26 (2147 reads)
After some lazyness i finally uploaded the tune to aminet.
Its an 11mb mp3 192khz remix tune from Emulate. The original tune without the voice isn't released yet but will later under the group Transplant.

Criticism are welcome

I thought the music was very creative.
I really wish I could do that.
Excuse my lameness but this classifies as trance doesn't it?
Hell, it's looped about 10 times while I write this. Great!!!

The only down side was the voice over.
I had a little difficulty making out what you were saying until the end......
"The Friedens say when it's done."
Coolness "Initiate Kickstart"

Perhaps you can release the ummm....lyrics.....so I can figure out what you were saying.

I don't mean to offend anyone...but IMHO when non native english speakers try to sound cool by speaking in a kind of deep American voiceover accent they usually fail miserably. Hell, Americans can barely do it themselves. The intonation(?) actually hurts native english speaker's ears. It would have sounded great in whatever your native language is. I absolutely love the Run Lola Run soundtrack for instance, especially when they start speaking in their native language (German?)which makes it all the more interesting, sexy and cool.

Ok. Going back to my happy place now.
We STILL have no hotdogs!!! But I've got the music going!!!

I was lucky having the music split into music and the voice so i could listen and write down the words. There is only one i dont know what i say hehe.
The Delay effect is making me not hear it.

Im happy that you liked the music. And your totally right it sounds strange when a non native american try to emulate an deep american. I have to eat a lot of hamburgers/donuts/peanut butter before i try it again. Or just ask the black dude that did the voice for darth vader if he can do some amiga speech.

The text is more done in a fantasy way. Whatever... here is the text:

.......... begin
Welcome to the amigagothenburg2005
Initiate Kickstart
There are these dark creatures, hiding in the shadows
cursed and hold back by the mighty evil.
In the beginning they were a proud an ancient people
fully of ? with great power
The wise olders told keep it there or you will wake up the selfpossesed evil
From this day, dark cloud appears, the evil rushes up saying, cast them in
The ancient didnt know, together we are strong
So they split up
Dark eclipse, nowhere to run
Some of them worshipped the butterfly of blue, the others told relic will be
reborn in two.
Like the prophecy says, do you see the light in red and white.
The rise of the reborn
The creatures prays, when can we see any progress.
They say when its done, The Friedens says when its done.
.......... end

I hope this makes it more clear :)

@Kicko

Thanks for submitting the text. Easier to understand now.

Otherwise, a very interesting theme.
