LhA is a powerful archiver for the Amiga computer. It is fully
compatible with LHA for MSDOS systems and LhArc for MSDOS, Amiga and
*NIX. It is also compatible with LhArcA, LZ and LhArc for the Amiga.

Thanks. For the 1st time in my life (Amiga owner since when A500 came out) I read the guide. About 5 years ago I tried to give Mr. Boberg "the registration fee", but he was too kind.

I already put the new LhA to use here in my C:.

Thanks for breathing life into it. I use an lha at my ISP's BSD system and an lha on the Sun workstation where I work.

Sincerely yours,
George Wyche

Hi,

i have made a mistake with the archive for the 68k-versions. The lha_68020 was the actuell 68040-version and lha_68040 was an outdated 68040_version. A fixed archive is now available.

Would it harm so much, to offer also a simple binary (uncompressed) ?
Can't be so big that compression is neccessary.

Btw:
Is lh7 supported ?

What kind of answer is that? Windows can unpack zip out of the box
still WinRAR and WinZIP is packed with "selfextracting" executables.
It's done to make everything easier for the users.

This is actually one place Amiga can learn from Windows.
