Events   Events : Amiga North Thames usergroup needs YOU!
   posted by Mikey_C on 6-Apr-2006 9:26:42 (3655 reads)
Amiga North Thames is looking for an influx of new Amiga users.

If we don't get some new blood, then we will most likely have to go multi format.
(we know there are many Amiga users in the London and surrounding areas who don't attend)

Please come and join the last great 100% Amiga usergroup in the UK's South east
Visit http://www.amiganorththames.co.uk for details.

Our next meeting is: this Sunday, April 9th, Doors open. 13:00 to 17:00
Use it or lose it

I'll also demonstrate the latest version of TuneNet on OS4 along with how the
broadcasting module currently works.

Cheers,
Bean.

As a side salad, why not encourage Multivac to build his A4000 Mediator tower. It's planned to have a Cyberstorm PPC.

Once the hardware is all assembled I'll bring the system along and install the software.

OS4.0 anyone?

I'm going to Warwick this weekend for Lunch with my parents-in-law...
(I thought it was Birmingham as my wife told me... But in fact it's just Birmingham Road in Warwick ... about 2 hours away ?)...

I also need to "preserve" myself for the next 3-Cag meeting in 24 days !

Jerry

Hi Mikey_C,

Those 8 biscuits you have left (and were panicking) will not be nearly enough!

I would love to attend your meeting, but due to the great
distance, I won't be able to go.

The Piccadilly line stops relatively close to the ANT meeting place, although you will need to catch a bus to avoid a long walk.

Rudei, PM me your email address, I'll ask Mike Woods to add you to the new ANT mailing list.

In short, I haven't heard anything and I have been unable to get hold of the vicar.

Has anyone actually done a site survey for any hijackable wireless networks? :)

I would come to this meeting only I have friends around and we're planning a shopping trip to Bluewater and Lakeside so I'm afraid not this month for me. Maybe next month.

BTW - I really don't feel your hall is big enough to go dual-format (unless it's a c64 or amstrad CPC group ;) What's wrong with the number of people you get? You get more people coming to your group than we have done to SEAL for a long time.

Sam
