There'll be a WIP3 release fairly shortly. I'm rather swamped with other stuff at the moment, so it's taking longer than I'd like.

| thank you very much for this update, i'd like see (if possible) a shared version of SDL.library and a full OpenGL/Hardware implementation. This library is important! There are many ports on our AOS4 (emulators, games, ecc)

A great shared library that would be nice to see under OS4 is PowerSDL (which I use on MorphOS). The source is open so it shouldn't be impossible to have ported fairly soon IMO. It supports GL and overlay and a lot more.
