Announcement   Announcement : The Crypt gets a face lift!
posted by Zola on 25-Jun-2006 5:47:44 (2139 reads)
The new look website has so much more to offer now. New writers, Free games to play, a daily crossword, 15 themes to choose from and thats just the start!

Coming next week, in the new look magazine we have (drumroll) Amiga articles! (/drumroll) and in coming issues we bring you EXCLUSIVE programs to use on your Amiga (more on that later)

So there are plenty of reasons to pop round to the Cryptmag website and have a look at what were doing.

the new look is awesome guys! looks really great. :)

I have one minor complaint though, the page is slightly too wide for my 1024x768 ibrowse 2.3 window. it looks like it would fit perfectly if the scrollbar on the right wasnt there.

But yeah, I love the red on black theme.

I'd agree with you, but then we'd both be wrong.

I look forward to the next issue, I really like the joke pages and some of the Tech bits that you/your team find on the web

hmmmm... Dark grey links on a black background?
Not exactly reader friendly...
Who gets the slapping for that one...

This only appears to be a problem on certain Amiga browsers, but as Zola says you can change the theme to suit what is best for your setup.

Kind regards,

Francis

LOL

Let me guess... IBrowse, Aweb and possibly Voyager

I't not a "problem" it's been set like that by default until ssl overrides the settings which can't happen with amiga browsers yet...

taken from the default theme source html...

body bgcolor="#000000" text="#FFFFFF" link="#363636" vlink="#363636" alink="#d5ae83"

looks like black background (#000000) with dark grey links (#363636) to me...

anyway, I've registered and am using nukenews I prefer deep blue but it's not wide enough, 3d fantasy is ok but the boxes don't display properly :(
