| Indeed, given how many millions of dollars Microsoft spent researching a name for their OEM'd Toshiba player, I'm surprised they did not stumble upon the AROS user interface. Or perhaps they did, but had already settled on the 'Zune' name, so allowed the marketing machine to carry on regardless.
Anyway, back on topic, thanks to Bernd for his continued work supporting 68k Amiga users with AfA-OS. Previous versions have proven a little unstable for me in the past, with some MUI programs complaining of missing classes. I do hope these issues have been resolved in this beta.

| At least the italian Wiki mentions both Microsoft's and AROS' Zune:

| Well, the installer complains with 'Wrong InfoText.mcc version' and 'Wrong Lamp.mcc version' on my AIAB setup. I do not actually have InfoText.mcc installed, and have the latest 68k Lamp.mcc (there is a newer version, but for MorphOS only).
The software works reasonably well, however selecting MUI tasks to promote to Zune is a little cumbersome - Bernd, why are you still persisting with the terrible wizard.library user interface - surely a Zune UI would be the logical choice for the promoter?
Some programs still do not open using Zune, such as Scalos' preferences, SysSpeed, Magic Exchange, WizARC and a number of other tools that are included with AIAB, which is a little disappointing.
Finally, I would like to be able to select external images (bitmaps) for the Zune glyphs, rather than the ugly system vector images. I do hope such functionality can be added soon.
Despite my grievances, I am delighted with Bernd's excellent work, and looking forward to more AROS eye-candy making it's way into classic AmigaOS!

Keep up the great work, James x |

| Thank you for your quick test James! I hope Bernd browses this portal from time to time so he takes your bugreport and suggestions into consideration. I'd love to see all MUI apps in Zune suite soon! :) _________________ Modern Retro Experience

| Yes, a full replacement for MUI would be terrific.
By the way, that's a great avatar Jan!
