Great. I´ll test mp3-streaming tomorrow when the local hockey team broadcasts from an away match.

Trying it right now. Hopefully this will fix the instability problems I was having with the last stable release. One question though--where does it get its information for Artist and Album? Right now it's just showing some garbage like ¥ÞL in the listview.

Hi, if the problem with the last release was with lock ups then I'm afraid this isn't TuneNet related, and is down to hardware and/or sound card issues.

This depends on the plugin used. If it's with MP3 files I have noticed a few are shown like this, and they could have malformed IDV3 tags. ...or more likely there is an issue with TuneNet. Certainly the majority of my MP3 collection is shown correctly, but I'll have a look into it.

Cheers,
Bean.

@Bean

This is my humble opinion, but i think stream should be named as real with recording....

EDIT: Can that be diffucult to do? I don't know as long as i'm not developer.
I'm using ANR to save streams all night long, and that saves those file with stream names..

EDIT #2: Hmmm, seems like Tunenet saving is all going into one file.
Would it be better to do saving with stream name, and when tune is changing
it would be starting new file?
maybe i'm just rookie and i doesn't know how to use it, but Tunenet is great!

Thanks thanks thanks!

Tunenet is my favourite OS4 application and used daily. It's really impressive to see how advanced it has become.

Thanks for the update.

It's on my list of things to do!

Soon there will be a preference for the recording method (maybe even before Christmas - we'll see).

Cheers,
Bean.

When was planned to be released the version with new global GUI skinnable method?
I like VERY MUCH it(I saw it at Pianeta Amiga)!

GOOD WORK!

Tuxedo.

I'm working with FuZion on this. We really want to make it as flexible as
possible so it will take a little time longer. However, we will release a few
previews as we go.

+ there is more functionality planned for TuneNet service releases in the near
future.

It's actually getting quite a big project now. Thankfully there are a lots of
people here who contribute whether that be Plugins, Graphics, Visuals, Dock
Skins etc...

Which reminds me, anyone want to write some more visuals using the compatible
AmigaAmp visual SDK!? Any offers?

Cheers,
Bean.

@Bean

Is it impossible to support WinAMP5 (newer type) skins?

It's certainly not impossible, but time and resources play a factor.

For the moment we are concentrating on the main skin system. There might, at some point, be skin plugins in order to support / convert different formats, but it is not our main focus at the moment.

Cheers,
Bean.

Yes, a skin plugin system would be great!

This would make it possible to use almost any skin of any player as long as we have the plugin for the actual skin format..

Please continue with your great work (and great ideas), don't let me disturb you..
