really good idea! any chance to make it convert from anything to anything in the future ? really the main 2 would be img and nrg, but i have no idea if it is possible.

SpotUp, it reapers when you click on the "open file requester" button if "work:" doesnt exist. clicking ignore errors lets it continue though. Also, I see that you can change the dir target in the icon tooltypes.

Thanks for this util! I look forward to the day when someone sends me a nero image. :)

Great work! Are there any future formats planned?

I'm working on .dmg support currently, which is quite a bit more work than the currently supported ones.

I've also fixed a mistake in the .pdi support. I'm hoping there aren't any others...

.nrg support was definitely the easiest one to implement since you only need to skip some data at the beginning and then copy the rest of the file as-is.

If it crashes only because "Work:" doesn't exist then that's a bug in getfile.gadget IMO.

The worst that should happen is that a "please insert volume Work" will appear. But as this is also rather annoying the FILEDIR tooltype will be commented out in the next version.

Looks like a nice tool.

What about the CUE/BIN format used for a lot of the back2roots CD images? I remember having trouble finding a cd-writer tool that would burn these (some claimed to support it, but couldn't handle the audio tracks. Does the ISO format actually support having a data track followed by a set audio tracks?

That's what the .bin support is for. The .cue file is not used in the conversion.

Not AFAIK.

I have once tried to generate .nrg file from a CD containing audio tracks and converting it to an ISO and then mounting it in DiskImageGUI. This way the audio tracks were at least "visible" to the CDFileSystem but they just contained random noise and the lengths were all wrong.

Hi salass00,
I enjoyed all your good works with "Diskimage.device". I haven't checked into 'iso-matic' yet. Do you got a PayPal button somewhere?
