Yes.. Very good reason for people to buy a MiniMig now.

Flex - Right Now
499 Euros = 661.0253 U.S. dollars = 914.815 AUD = 449.415 GBP

Aren't you scooping your resellers, i.e. being anticompetitive? *confused*

While it might look so, why not test how much room for competition there actually is among Amiga dealers?

@Trev
1) There might be a bigger import tax or stamp duty to paid for such a big system.
2) Maybe the resellers get a better value machine. 800Mhz
3) Perhaps it's a limited time only offer!

@Trev

sorry Trev but whwre do you see the "anticompetitive" thing here?

the Flex mobo alone is

369 euro sam flex 667 Mhz

and beeing the companies under ACube (3 afaik) "medium" PC components resellers as well, the total amount for a complete and (for sure) reliable and working out of the box SAM system, seems aligned with others european resellers.

Plus, if this makes the other dealers offer a greater choice in ordering complete systems then I'm all for it!

Just email me if you need a case for your Minimig...a proper case

I have got one or two left which I will discount as I need some cash to finish off the SAM case.

Ciao

Wow, the price difference for just the mainboard is really big between Acube and AmigaKit...

Nice minimig deal but the crystal "case" is no match for TheDaddy's. Get one while you can!

@Flashlab

AFAIK Amigakit's price includes local taxes

@FlashLab

It is very important to compare the costs accurately.

The cost of the SAM Flex board that ACube advertise excludes Italian V.A.T. of 20% which needs to be added to their final price. It also excludes extra 4% Paypal charges.

We do not charge for Paypal.

Also the cost of currency conversion needs to be taken into account.

We accept Dollars, Pounds and Euros depending on which store you buy from which can benefit the customer when they want to buy in their native currency.

@amigakit
I sent an inquiry about a complete SAM Flex system five days ago but have only received the automated response so far. Should I ask my questions here or are you just running behind on responding to emails?

Ah, ok! I forgot about the VAT! That would make the price about equal. So no price fight between suppliers!

I'm probably about to place a Flex order from Amigakit. If I wanted this bundle though, how would I even order it? I don't see a link anywhere on the Acube page to actually buy anything. Would I pay the 20% VAT in the USA also? I just sold my A1200 so what's the best way to go everyone?
