| Just to clarify, the offer does of course still extend to those in the southern hemisphere, just regard it as a winter solstice offer.
Sorry if it was not too clear above.

I notice that by purchasing the cd, the 1.6 upgrade is inculded.
My question is, can OS4 users use 1.5, or is it necessary to get 1.6 to have it work on an OS4 system?
And
22 pounds right(46 AUD), the europe version, if I am in Australia wanting to order?
Cheers. |

I bought DU v1.5 in Dec 2007 before 4.1 came out, worked fine with 4.0, & now, with 4.1. |

Both versions are OS4 only. It is perfectly possible to run v1.5 on OS4.x without updating to the later version(s). The puzzle is why you would want to use the older version ? Neither version uses anything that specifically requires OS4.1 rather than OS4.0.

I take it you mean you would want to order a CD. I will just need to find out what the postage cost would be and then PM you. Hopefully, it shouldn't make too much difference.

| May I also get the upgrade from 1.5 to CD? And what are the costs? I would like to be sure that my software is safe and there should be a possibility to install again or to another computer if I get new Amiga later...

You should have access to the Syzygy download server, if you have lost your details let me know.
There you will be able to download an ISO for DU1.5 plus the update as an lha file. If you wait I can contact Dan and get him to upload the current ISO which has the 1.6 update on it too. I never did this before as I thought more people would want to just download the lha files - plus with my slow connection getting the newer double sized ISO online takes ages.
BTW. Anyone who opted for the download purchase will be able to download the DU15 ISO if they should wish to create their own CD.

Long time no hear.
He he. You have just volunteered to do the Finnish translation for 3D Stars and at a later time DU 2.x

I have checked the prices and it does not add much, not even a full £ UK.
So now anyone in "The Rest of the World" can order a CD if they wish, I have added the appropriate buttons on the Solstice Sale Page to allow for this. |

That's what I like to do! My fund transfers to PayPal will be ready by Friday and I'll order it then. |

That's what I did, burned the iso to a CD. The 1.6 update has since been installed, I should burn a v1.6 CD. |

Phew. I am glad to hear you have a SAM too, as DU only runs on OS4.
I hope you enjoy it.

| The Summer Solstice Sale finally ended yesterday.
Thanks to all who responded, the interest was actually far better than I had expected. It has certainly persuaded me to definately continue developing Digital Universe for OS4 and beyond.
The web page linked in this thread now has some information about things to come, instead of the previous ordering page. It seemed a better thing to do that just deleting the page. I hope it will be of interest.
