Just given it a quick spin and had no stability problems in the time I've used it. Very nippy but sorely lacking Javascript ( I tried to post this message from it but could not) so look forward to when that is included.

Thanks for the work put into this, it's nice to have a choice of actively developed browsers

@ChrisH

Installer crashed for me too.

Here is a reply from Chris Young on a different thread:

@redfox
The crash is caused by a bug in Installer, IIRC related to the textfile command (but I can't find a useful reproduceable test case, even the NetSurf install doesn't crash here). "Ignore DSI Errors" is safe to use to finish the install.

Wontbe long and we will have three browsers to hoose from, but I get a funny suspicion TimberWolf will indeed be awesome to use versus the other two current browsers here, OWB and Netsurf.

IBrowse, well, good if you like to read in Newspaper format, or the download manager.

Cheers

@Glames

Frames are on the dev plan to be fixed for v3.0.

I see your website kills NetSurf, which isn't good. Normally framed sites do work but aren't pretty. I'll try to remember to test that one once frames are sorted.

That doesn't work here. I was using AmiUpdate to install it. Although I did try Continue at first Ignoring DSIs just clocked up my CPU. So install didin't finish. System seemed stable but had to reset.

Newspaper format, haven't heard that one before.

There is also back history, fast links, passwords and printing. That last one is a biggie. Ever had a friend over who wanted you to print a web site? OWB looks right but that is a basic function we still can't do easily.

But there is one thing IBrowse can do on OS4 that OWB can't. Display flash!

@ Hypex

Have you considered viewing youtube vids via OWB, works just as good, and is a nicer overall feel to the browser and the modern world.

ALSO

Netsurf has a download bar per download you do, so you can have like multiple downloads being displayed, each with a seperate bar, allowing a user to know how far the downoad is per item.

SO

For me, OWB and Netsurf since the latest update, seem to be the go ahead for now.

I will let you stick with your newspaper read.

Cheers
