Miscellaneous News   Miscellaneous News : Not being successful has some advantages

This original Apple 1 is selling for between £100,000 - £150,000 with a letter from Steve and the return address of his dad's garage where he and Woz built it.

The Amiga's drop into obscurity has one small advantage in that A1000s are cheap by comparison.

Sorry, but this is the most stupid post I've ever read.

It's like saying "Hey, the advantage of being dead is that you won't have to pay taxes anymore!"

I'd prefer to see Lorraine prototype sold at a very expensive price in an auction just if I could buy an Amiga system off-the-shelf in any computer store, with new models every year, with several portable systems to choose from, with thousands of developers instead of hundreds, with several million users instead of thousands. Meh...

Saluditos,

Ferrán.

I was just joking. I was also quite amazed at just how much such an item would go for which got me thinking that had the Amiga not crashed and burned things would have been very different.
