@djrikky

Good stuff . For sure better than previous one. Keep it up

edit: found that hardware area a bit messed: some images are not HW , but some screenshots, pictures of games, etc.

Nice, but it is a little difficult to read the white print on the white back ground at the bottom.

I'd agree with you, but then we'd both be wrong.

@djrikki
Suggestions/errata:some pictures are little too "blurry"

The 460EX description has the following errors: Number of USB ports is 7 (6 is reported there) CPU clock speed is 1.15Ghz (1.0Ghz is reported)

Anyway, nice work, it's getting cleaner and more professional looking.

@Dax: Done

@Petah: Don't change the habit of a lifetime will you =P

@Moxee: The small print in the footer? Kinda makes sense don't it.

@Kas1e/Dax: The correct images are being shown in the hardware pages - I can't find any decent imagery across the net. 460 isn't available yet as a full system so nothing to show. As for blurry images, aye I agree, but they aren't that noticeable to the casual visitor. Once I have an Amiga I will go through the entire site and update every single image so they are all shot at the same aspect ratio and screen resolution.

Cheers guys.

Great news, nice to see progress

I remember back in 90s we had Amiga Translator Org worldwide
(ADO) but at this moment I can locate only few "old school Zealots"
http://pipl.com/directory/tags/Amiga%2520Translators%2520Organization
I am sure web site translation is a joke to them, since they did apps even
Operating systems. And not like some websites that just use Google Translate

Man it's a nice initative, but honestly I still think it could use a good webdesigner...it's ugly and inconsistent as it looks now, sorry.

edit: forgot to say it's also slow

Looks good! Informative and clean. Just the blurry icons annoyed me a bit, but I read you will fix that

I guess if there was a web designer willing to do something like this, such a site would already exist. But as it does not, I think we have to be happy with it as is (and anyway seems nice enough to me, overall).

But if you happen to know of a good web designer willing to work for free...

I don't know any webdesigner, but if I did I would surely ask him to make a theme for this site. But what about inside our own ranks here on aw.net? - surely there must be a webdesigner somewhere, didn't Opi express quite much knowledge about this area in some former threads??

Opi care to elaborate ?? - what do you think about the design

(DjRikki remember this is not an effort to put your work to shame, you did a marvelous job bringing all this information together)

@Hondo,

No worries. The site is something I have produced in my own time, and time is something I don't always have a lot of of.

I think the very few that do complain are too used to reading black/coloured text on a white background rather than the other way around.

Possibly a stylesheet selector in the top-right corner will suffice, I can imagine how that would be coded:

http://www.amigaos.net?style=0, http://www.amigaos.net?style=1 etc...

Extract the url parameters, change the css style, set a cookie. When visit site again in the future read the cookie, set the style. Something along those lines.

Honestly man...AmigaOS deserves much better graphics/design
