| First of all congratulations to ACube for staying in business for 5 years primarily in the Amiga market!
Hyperion has been in the Amiga market since 1999 and we know from experience how tough it is.
Asking for upgrading prices in such a small market with such tiny margins is crazy.
If you want to upgrade, by all means sell your Sam 440 second hand and use the money to invest in new hardware.
It will increase the userbase and Amiga hardware has excellent residual value.
Demanding rebates from companies that operate on such a modest scale is complete nonsense.
Nobody offered me any rebates on PC hardware when it was declared defunct because the hardware could not cope with Vista but ran XP fine.
A Wintel machine from 3 years ago is worth next to nothing.
That's the flipside of cheaper hardware. |
