Is a clean install of MorphOS with just a couple downloaded apps be considered fresh install? Or does it need to be 100% clean or issues will arise!

Mine is clean install last week with an IRC app installed and that is about it.

In any case Ultimate Pack should have a big badge with "You install it at your own risk"

@amigasociety
Yes, because if you have installed the previous pack or much software, with this pack you install new and you can suffer installations on software already installed.

@DC_Edge

I was also curious given the size of the ISO. I found this french page on the same site that describes what is included on the Ultimate Pack iso. I include the url for the english translation of the page.

I have downloaded this for the first time. Installed in my Mac Mini running MorphOS 3.1 and although I had errors while installing, I was able to reboot the Mini and it did boot, looking much different that the stock 3.1 I just fresh installed last week.

I tried to install a 2nd time but get the same error.

After I select the locations where stuff is to install, meaning apps in applications, games in games, Emulators in Applications, etc..., and it seems to do its thing, I see apps extracting and all that scrolling on my screen, I get various screens I continue on saying the extraction was complete, but then I get to a Log Server window saying "Installer, Illegal Instruction, with today as date and User nobody. When I click the exclamation mark next to the error it shows Instruction at Address 0x6, no more information available message. 68K Exception in Task 0x245226a0 .

Now this screen when I close it takes me back to the Extraction is complete window but neither Continue or Abort Install button works nor can I close this window. I have to reboot the Mini to get rid of that screen.

So, I don't believe I am getting a full install. I seem to be missing games and emulators as I checked the list at http://www.meta-morphos.org/sections.php?op=viewarticle&artid=22 and I can quickly see I am missing all these games in the games folder and don't see where the emulators are so pretty sure those are missing to.

Problems I will have now?

What do you all think?

TJ

BTW, how can I get the Polynet Dock to go to right side of screen and be centered over there. Also I want it to stay there after reboot.

I moved the PolyNet Dock to the bottom of the screen successfully but it would not save after reboot and rides up about 3/4 way down the screen in the way.

So I would prefer it be moved to right side, centered, and stay put.

Any advise would be great!

I don't have it installed anymore, but didn't you have to click "fix" button or similar in the settings where you selected the position to get it saved to wanted position?
