The two base packages "AmiCygnix-Base" and "AmiCygnix-Tools" are now available in a revised version.

New in AmiCygnix-Base:
  • The support of dead keys was revised again. In 1.3 r1 this feature didn't work properly. Additionally all dead keys - except "DeadDialytikaTonos" - defined in the keymap files in "KEYMAPS:" are now supported.

Thanks Edgar, so many nice apps avail thanks to AmiCygnix.

Yes, some will complain interface is Cygnix screen and not fully AmigaOS like,
but having nice Linux apps avail - is great usability step and makes less booting to Linux needed.

I'd agree with you, but then we'd both be wrong.

Not if you run the applications in a window.

    Great job Edgar.

I had one problem when installing the Base over a previous version.
It stalled when configuring the mimetypes, which stopped it loading properly when ran.

So I rebooted then installed the Tools over the top and that configured the mimetypes and finished so all is working.
