Personally I would have preferred this to be discussed on our forums only, at least until there is some solid confirmation.

But because various people (not only The_Editor and tonyw) submitted this as news and Tony's submission at least contains a question mark, I decided to post this submission regardless.

But I was knackered and just posted it and went to bed !!

Anyway ... If this is true ... Its VERY good news..

I guess the Flamers & Trolls will have to find some new material after all !!

I mean ... They tried to FUD people out of buying the AmigaONE .. Didn't work .....

Gave a sh*tload of grief about T-shirts that most of them probably didn't subscribe to anyway !!

Ah .....

Rebate coupons seems to be one of the only alternative avenues left !!

"Roll up .. Roll up .. Get your front row seat coupons for the latest trollfest extravaganza here " !!

Hmmm... Well, I live in the South East US, so mine should be arriving soon if they are indeed shipping them. There were at least 3 people that said they have recieved theirs... we will know soon enough. XXL? Hmm... I'm skinny, that will swallow me whole!

I think that A inc may have taken the technical route of using the lowest common multiple - everyone will "fit" into an XXL, for a given value of "fit"

Although I personally prefer this explanation from ANN:

Quote:
They probably went by the average size worn by the people attending the last Amiga Convention

How does Amiga Inc. know our sizes???

@ Amiga Inc. ... I would like mine in size medium ... if it is small of the size, then large

Hi Mike,

I'm with you on this one.
Until one of two things happen, namely (a) I receive *my* T-shirt or (b) someone reliable posts a picture of one, I'm treating it as a hoax.

Cheers,
Robert.

Precisely why I've sent Cecilia an email asking her for confirmation that her posting on Ann is indeed, Genuine.

No response yet !!

I sent an email to the webmaster of Amiga Inc website and have received a response!

According to Ray A. Akey, Amiga Inc. Has not sent any T-Shirts to anyone, period!

When they do, we will hear it from them!

Loki
