Thanks for the reply, I think the text style change is a bit more jarring as the select dialogue option is the same style used for actual dialogue in the introduction, I thought it was the same when in-game.

It wasn't a total system lock-up I had, just the game window stopped responding and Ambient trapped it as "Meditating" and offered to kill it. I was able to restart it and play again straight away though.

hmmm, no one has ever asked for that ... and I don't have a ppc Mac to test it, but I'll compile the demo for you and put it on the server.

Tested it yesterday on my MorphOS. My first impressions so far: The music and graphics are excellent. Regarding stability I had no lock ups. The font color on the upper dialogs (where you chose what to say) is way too bright imo. With double clicking after a dialog started you should be able to skip it. It would be nice to adjust speed of dialogs from the options menu as well. Finally it would be nice to have a talkie edition because there is too much reading into it. Even if the voice over isn't done in a professional studio or by actors, I would like to listen the dialogs even from the devs instead of only reading.

Runs nicely here on A1-500 with FE. Like the music and 'retro' feel of the game. Reminds me of Broken Sword. Did get one Hollywood error in the police station:

Thanks for reporting it. Where you able to reproduce it, or did it just happened once. Do you remember what were you doing in that moment? Besides dialogs, I mean. Clicking on screen borders etc....

very nice game even if play area is too small and there are some things with audio i don't like very much.

music and effects are ok, but with multiple choice answer if i don't select nothing music and effect stop to work and restart after i click on question or answer.
i continue to listen tipewriter in any stages when i interact with any caracthers.

When i enter in a room i cannot go out and i like to have freedom to do it

I'm glad you liked the game. Please explain better about play area. As fas as audio, sound effects are still being developed, and they are not final (read the release notes .... )

Yes, you are right. We are still working on it.

Typewriter sound was meant to underline a dialog in progress, so it plays any time a character is speaking. We will change sound for sure, since I see it is confusing players.

This effect was meant for the first chapter (the one included in the demo). It was designed to underline the fact that you still have things to do before leaving: in other words, a kind of tutorial.
You will have much more freedom of movent in the full game.
