Thanks for digging that up. I had forgotten parts of the circumstances how it all started. I remember that IRC conversation when someone said that someone was turned down by this offer. I still don't remember who but he seemed very sure about it. Last thing I wanted to do was to fuel a stupid rumour. Which I apparently did.

I appologise about that too. I should have known better.

Supporting the Amiga because you don't want to support some other company is doing it wrong IMHO, and part f the reason we're in this very thread. A hobby developer needs to be passionate about the platform he's working on, because programming is 20% pure joy and 80% frustration. If you don't have anything to push you past the frustrating parts then you won't finish your first project, and "f#ck those guys" is not enough of a motivator for most people.

Well, I have now read through this entire thread, and I must say it's a rather strange thread. From the original post, to the end. Very strange. But revealing, and perhaps a seed to a change of certain things even?
