software OS4   software OS4 : New software releases by OnyxSoft
   posted by Deniil715 on 31-Jan-2016 11:31:16 (2034 reads)
OnyxSoft releases a an update to MPlayer-GUI with better support for LiveForIt's MPlayer.

MPlayer-GUI v1.60 - (OS4) GUI for MPlayer for OS4.

- Finally fixed the control panel arexx commands for those video drivers that has proper arexx handling implemented. Please not that not all versions of MPlayer or every video driver supports arexx commands, but this works with LiveForIt MPlayer and the comp modes at the very least, maybe other modes and versions too.

- Realtime control panel sliders for seeking and volume. It doesn't seek only after you let go of the slider, like before. Note: Not all video drivers supports it.

- MPlayer-GUI now gets the available audio and video drivers from MPlayer itself to make sure only available drivers are presented in the GUI. It does this by executing "mplayer -vo help -ao help". Please report if your video or audio driver selection is empty!!

- Added wpa video driver to default video drivers.

- Time display in the control panel.

- Fixed the unfreed signals on exit.

If you see a bug or have a suggestion, please don't hesitate to drop me an e-mail!

"Pause" with pressing "P" doesn't work
Works well in 1.59

Pause in MPlayer occurs with the space bar, not the "P" key. I didn't even know that "p" was used for pausing a video.

Thanks all

Whether pause works or not (especially with 'p' which is what I also use normally) seems to depend on various factors, like version of mplayer, codec of the video, video output driver.

I'll retry with space when 'p' doesn't work the next time.

Many thanks for the update.

In initial testing, neither or the work for me to pause the video?

Can anyone else confirm this?

Here it pauses for a frame or two and then continues playing. It's not really a pause, it's more like a skipped frame or something.

@all

Mplayer might not find the config file, suggest using snoopy.
As mplayer is started from mplayer gui, it might look for config file in that directory.

Also not if you downloaded liveforit-mplayer-ng, from os4depot.net, then files are missing in archive.
was not my fault not uploaded by me.
