I found Aeros on Ebay too and it is priced aat 20 € on 16 GB SD-TF card but it is a beta version.

Do you plan to sell on Ebay the full release too?

Hi,
I am lazy and so I didn't update the eBay description : )
You get the same access to the same download page and I always burn the latest version manually to a micro sd card.

up2date is now ready.

You can grab it from the registered user page.
All you need to do is to place it to

AEROS/tools/Up2date/

Than you can launch it from AROS by clicking the icon.

It will update the linux part and the AROS part from now on.
Update can take 3-10minutes depending on your Internet connection and SD-card.

-> This mean that you don't need to download an entire image everytime I release an update..
Just click on up2date and the changes and updates will be applied.

There seems to be a few bits and pieces missing from the last version.
No skype or fashion video for instance.
Is that deliberate or do I have a faulty installation?

Cheers

Video has been removed because it is "meh" and quite big.

Skype is not yet installed because I am still testing the UBUNTU guest...
It maybe that I will replace the UBUNTU guest with a debian guest. Will decide it within 2 days. I am now preparing AEROS 4.0 for Odroid XU4 and can compare the exagear debian guest.

The good thing is that you don't need to re-download new images.. You can now get those updates from inside AEROS.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
AEROS 4.0 2016-03-20 is now available for registered users.
Alternatively you can grab the up2date tool and install your existing SD-Card.
Changelog for AEROS 2016-03-20:
Added up2date in SYSTEM:TOOL/Up2date which is a one-click update script.
It will fetch a script from my server and apply updates via apt-get and own scripts.
This way you don't need to re-download images again.
Added Frozen-bubble
Added Icons for Blender and Minecraft
Fixed MilkyTracker
Added a delay of 1 sec. to the boot-sequence because under some conditions, AEROS came up too early causing a black window and forcing the user to reboot again.
Added Version information
*Blender is included because it works perfectly fine on the Odroid XU3/4 and U2/U3
On the raspberry pi we will need to wait for a better OpenGL driver... the existing "experimental" driver has compatibility issues with AEROS.
That's good then, was a bit concerned I had a dodgy build.
Yeah the video was not really any thing apart from a good demonstration of the video player in action. You could replace it with a small video of something Amiga related I suppose.
Yeah the update is a nice feature.
Cheers
That's really helpful.
Don't know how many times I've had to look that up, swore blind I will remember, only to forget again.
Cheers
