Announcement   Announcement : New website and new versions of Aros Vision
   posted by OlafS25 on 10-Apr-2016 18:08:44 (1691 reads)
I have some news

I have redesigned http://www.aros-platform.de, it is now not only visually improved but also fully supports mobile devices like smartphones and tablets.

The page also includes download links for AROS Vision RTG 3.1 (for UAE). The most important changes are different desktops (DOpus Magellan, ScalOS, Wanderer) and implementations of MUI (Zune, MUI 3.8 and MUI 4). The system files are updated and f.e. Amiblitz.

New to this version is AROS Vision PAL which has been optimized for slower hardware and is now much smaller. As I cannot test it myself I would be grateful to get feedback.

Try and get some stylist involved in the project.

First impression last as they say.. And seeing that gray marmor bar against that blue bg is an eye sore. Then i can count at least 5 different icon sets.. just on that screenshot.

Other then that. Good work,

(I do like the new webpage design. Try and capture that look in the dist too.)

that marble bar is what is left of a desktop background i made for him once, i think he has forgotten to remove it from the dock prefs. certainly a flat color on both may be even more reasonable. what does the desktop background, even a large one, says about a system anyway..
