This just struck me:

How much work will there be to adapt OS4 to A1 Lite?

Is there any difference to AmigaOS in the hardware between the different A1's?

Will the user need to get a new copy of OS4, should he change his A1 Lite to an A1 XE for example?

Thanks.

Ahhh... this thread put a soft smile all over my face. Not just the news, more like, everyone is happy for once! =)

My AmigaOne is standing, unplugged, silent, in the next room waiting for os4. Maybe, hopefully soon, we could play together, in the right environment! =)

Hmm, if ShowConfig was running under Petunia, surely the CPU would show up as a 680x0? I think the custom chips reference must be a default that ShowConfig reports when it doesn't know.

Why are there no boards listed? I would expect the PCI/AGP boards to be listed here.

Anyway, it isn't finished yet so I imagine any errorneous reporting will be fixed before release

Chris
