Events   Events : OS4 on tour comes to the UK!
posted by BrianHoskins on 27-Oct-2003 23:31:26 (3170 reads)
OS4 on tour is coming to the UK soon. SWAG (South West Amiga Group, not to be confused with South Wales Amiga User Group) is organising an OS4 on tour event in Bath, where the new Operating System will be demonstrated to all who care to pay a visit!

Update: Alan Redhouse has confirmed that he will be coming along to the show to answer your questions.

At the moment they are gauging interest in the event in order to provide better organisation. If you are interested to go, please visit their site and pledge your support for this long awaited UK event.

I already booked my ticket for the 13th.... It is still the 13th right?

BTW - I have that logo for you... I've had to rip the Harddisk outta my home machine, and will be bunging it in my work machine so that I can get the bugger off it. My Processor has died on my home machine...

Well, it was working before I went to bed. I'm sure the server guys are working on whatever is wrong. Unfortunately I can't find out more until I get home from work, but hopefully it should be back up by then.

Its usually a reliable site, too.

Grrrr...

Edit: its back up!

Great, just registered.

I finish Uni the day before, so it's perfect timing for me I'm really looking forward to it. As soon as it's confirmed I'm booking my train ticket.

Great work Peter!

I should be able to get a return ticket for about £31 (which is good, seeing as Bath is 4 hours from me on the train) - so as soon as it's confirmed I'm there! :)

Ian

It looks like a few of us from SEAL http://www.seal-amiga.co.uk will be there along with Total Amiga magazine http://www.totalamiga.org

Will there be table space to display our magazine and to show my AmigaOne running OS4?

We should be able to organise something. Please put a request through the contact form on the website and we'll sort it out.
