Hello friends and fellow Amigans. I’m happy to announce that the UGN will again be webcasting the AmiWest 2007 show on October 20th and 21st. We are especially excited this year as it marks the 10th year anniversary of Amiwest and will be the 9th consecutive year we will have brought Amiga users all over the world the Amiwest experience.

But wait! Theres more!.....

Like in years past we will offer a webcam, dual audio streams and a video stream. The broadcast will begin at 6:45 PM PST on Saturday October 20th with coverage of the banquet and continue at 10 AM Sunday October 21st with coverage of the show floor till the end of the show.

Two new things for this year: We will be working with the Amiga Round Table (www.amigaZ.com) to help out with interviews and hosting of portions of the audio after the event.

We are also inviting Amiga Users from around the world to participate in a new way for this show. Since it is the 10th anniversary of the show we’d like to invite folks to create a short audio message, about a minute, with their favorite Amiwest or Amiga Memory to be broadcast during the show on Sunday both to the show floor and over the internet. This way everyone can have a chance to share with all of us at the show a little something special. Please be sure to say your name and location with your message and while I’d prefer English it is not a requirement. Formats accepted will be .mp3 or .ogg, check our website for additional details. Finally since children may be listening to the broadcast and present at the show, please use appropriate language. Once you’ve created your message just email it to amigamemories@gmail.com, be sure to tune in Sunday to hear your memory played on the air.

For the latest news and information how to tune in and participate please visit the UGN home page at ugn.amiga.org.

Don’t forget to thank our partners too!
