Who is the current holder of copyright to Kickstart V3.0? Is it possible to release its already ported small "exec.library" part as free software to make it publically usable for home made embedded Motorola 680x0 boxes as its multitasking control core? Just "exec.library" itself is not usable for running original AmigaOS software anyway. Thanks, Jan Kratochvil

Amiga Inc is the copyright holder of all kickstart releases, this includes the exec kernel. For embedded uses a company would have to negotiate a deal with the copyright holders.

I think you'd be better off emailing Gateway or Amiga Inc (AFAIK Gateway still owns all intellectuel property and copyrights, AInc just holds licences to use it).
