@thread

Coincidentally, seems like someone is getting the jump on Amiga Jeremy and ARS, in bringing history up to date:

http://sites.google.com/site/freeamiga

This could get interesting when the "unpublished" things get published.

Hey everybody who screamed so loud about a-eon registrant and contact info here, where are you now?

Or is there some kind of dual standards going on here, Hyperion people phone numbers should be removed, while it is ok to write Ray Akey's phone number here ?

According to Vince's Linkedin profile, he currently holds the position of VP of Amiga Inc. So either he's late updating his profile or something else is going on

Sorry and also sorry to be blunt, but anyone who complains about *public information* been copied and pasted from one of ten million tools that can do whois onto the site deserves a slap with a "how the internet works" book.

Just to put it straight, no problem with you, copy pasting public info is what Internet is about.

It is possible to Amiga Inc has taken down the sign for good (though I do not think so). But, as I wrote earlier, you should not throw sh * t on Amiga Inc and especially not on Bill McEwen. I amused myself by reading the entire history again completely unbiased. I have also read most statements by Bill. I think the guy demonstrates exceptionally good faith with their business. He also seems to be a really nice person.
One can clearly see that what has happened over the years is more about the investors has changed its focus several times. Often, just after Bill's famous statements. I can trace, in defense of excuse, the excuse that Bill was not his idea. Bill seems to be an amateur in contact with the media therefore becomes declarations and statements sometimes a jam which then is difficult to get out. But as I said, it's not his fault that all plans are not achieved with or without skills in media relations.
For example, Kent venue idea seems to be an idea with clear address tilll investors who probably tried at a public relations scam, or something like that. I can not think of miles to Bill alone would dare to promise such a thing when he did not have money even for the first payment in an amount that could run Amiga Inc ahead for years.
No, there must be someone else who found this and further soiling down Bill. Then when he must explain why it was so, but to speak ill of the investors, are remarkable statement, etc., etc..
I think Bill McEwen has had a massive opposition from all sides. Not least from their partners. Strange that the guy standing still. Maybe he gets no more.

I think it is a great shame that people only use Amiga computers kicking a guy who put his life in an attempt to achieve something. It's easy to kick when you're sitting in her room with the only thing accomplished is to write on a forum.

"You do not need to be vigilant against your enemies, it's your friends you must be vigilant against, because they can hurt you more than the enemy can only dream about"

Wow, someone must have really spend a lot of time on this. A great resource! I particularly like the large amount of references on this page.

Agreed. http://sites.google.com/site/freeamiga is an excellent read.

Also, did someone really complain on here when someone pasted the output of a whois onto a post? That I have to see if anyone has a link. hehe morons.
