I can't help you don't want to understand what I said, I said HyperionOS has the right to be called AmigaOS but it's not AMIGA(TM) and never will be nor is AROS or MorphOS AMIGA(TM) Comprende? Last edited by Manu on 23-Mar-2015 at 07:22 PM.

AmigaOS is AmigaOS - OS we all used on our beloved computers - unlike MorphOS or AROS... |

Don't try to look so bothered you're quite a good example yourself of adding to the new wave of hostility against AROS.

I'm an AROS user, what are you talking about? Show me some examples or be an adult and apologise for your false accusation_________________ If your nose runs and your feet smell, you're upside down. |

For how people described it, i expected it to have a directory tree with usual C,S,Libs,Devs, etc. as an Amiga-like os - or maybe i misunderstood them (never tested it, that is why)Last edited by saimon69 on 23-Mar-2015 at 08:06 PM. Last edited by saimon69 on 23-Mar-2015 at 08:06 PM.

I will right after you apologize for pointing the finger at AROS camp wanting to cause a new wave of hostility, proof of that ? _________________ AmigaOS or MorphOS on x86 would sell orders of magnitude more than the current, hardware-intensive solutions. And they'd go faster.-- D.Haynie |

Read this thread for a start. Read some of your own posts in this thread.
So no proof whatsoever from you regarding your false accusation against me and no apology either it seems.

I will give you little history course...
Name "AmigaOS" (or more often "Amiga OS") is commonly used from early 1990s (look at usenet discussions from 1990/1991). See eg. this thread from May 1990. Here Dave Haynie speaks about "Amiga OS" in May 1989. To cite also Andy Finkel (December 1986): "let's discuss the misuse of the term AmigaDos to describe the entire Amiga OS. That should be interesting, yea, that's the ticket."
Any questions?

I did provide proof, you refused to accept it. From reading your recent posts. It seems you have a problem in general accepting reality.
If you are going to turn on other AROS users, I suppose it's no surprise that you are hostile against AOS4 users.

Are you implying that I under police surveillance or something!? Did you mistake our free democracy for the dystopian fictional setting in that book you're reading '1984'? Did you hire some private eye to try work out how someone could live in the UK and have different views to you? Don't talk rubbish buddy!
Scare tactics, insanity, I don't really care just stay on thread and stop making it personal. I don't think we should be discussing AROS on a Hyperion thread, others disagree. Funny, and I thought it was you that turned on other AROS users. But hey that's probably my fault too. How convenient this thing turned out for you. Last edited by Manu on 23-Mar-2015 at 09:11 PM.

Real world and AmigWorld I did, as usual you are too far removed from reality to see it.
Some things are subject to opinion some are cold hard facts, you need to learn to tell the difference.
You thought wrong, yes that is your fault. You provided absolutely no evidence to support your attack. You reacted emotionally to a perceived attack to something I said instead of carefully considering if there was an actual attack.
Not very convenient at all. I have been maligned without evidence or apology. _________________ If your nose runs and your feet smell, you're upside down. |
