Exactly, each to his own.
To clarify: I'm not looking for numbers on how many would NOT buy such a thing, I'm looking only for numbers on how many WOULD buy such a thing. Amiga replacement keyboard (with at least A500, A1200, bigbox and PS/2 support) with Ctrl key above left shift (where it is frickin supposed to be ), Cherry MX switches. Price should be below 200 or it ain't interesting even to me.
I'm tempted to make a new thread with a poll where it's possible to choose ........... |
Not sure how I missed the post above from almost 1-1/2 years ago, but let me know if you (or anyone else) moves forward with creating a new mechanical replacement keyboard for existing Amiga keyboards and A500/A600/A1200 systems. I could use a little info from those who follow the Amiga Case situation closer than I do.
Both the A1200 and the Jarno Smit cases claim to have been licensed by Amiga Inc. Posts exist on eab making these claims for both.
I see this older ad for Philippe Lang's cases:

Then I see this:

Are there plans to restock or is it a discontinued product?
Thanks.

The molds will not be demolished AFAIK, so I would suspect new cases to show up when there is enough demand for them. I am not sure _where_ the molds will be stored though :)
Personally I am done for life I think, got 4 new cases in glorious colours and two more CD32-style dark gray ones coming when the keys are ready :D _________________ B5D6A1D019D5D45BCC56F4782AC220D8B3E2A6CC |

Nope, not that I know.
But who knows, it may come back again._________________ B5D6A1D019D5D45BCC56F4782AC220D8B3E2A6CC |
