Thanks for the link. Awesome if it happens but they are an old card now and hard to find.
I think its what Elbox were going to use as the Shark card, isn't it? _________________ Fred Booth ======================================== A500, A600, A1200 c/w Mediator and 030 AmigaOne and OS4.1 Mac LCII, G4 Powermac running OSX + Amigakit and MorphOS 3.0 Dell Mini 10 Netbook running IcAros and AmigaForever+Amikit+AmigaSys 2006 Macb |

I'm not sure what you want to know, but several of us posted about the old Sonnet stock here:

Maybe. But it is not very reasonable to build SMP system this way :P.

No. These cards use slow CPU and (more importantly) slow RAM and are connected by slow PCI. If you want SMP CPU card for AmigaOne (XE, Micro), you should design new MegArray CPU board. |

Remove the "new" and it's still true.
A CPU on PCI can never have full access to the Amiga in the same way that the CPUs on Phase5 cards can.
While it MIGHT be possible to get Warp running (PowerUP would probraly be easier) it won't be possible to run OS4,MorphOS or Linux on it.
Well actually you would have to 2 ways to do it:
1) make sure everything you need (GFX,sound,HD,keyboard) is on PCI, but than you could just skip the mediator and Axx00 and just plug the Sonnet in a passive PCI-backplane
2) run a helper-OS on the 68k-CPU sending/receiving all things Amiga to and from PCILast edited by Kronos on 22-Mar-2015 at 09:22 AM.
