@bbrv

tomazkid said "Have you ever sent an email to technologylicensing@amiga.com and asked for a license to get OS4 ported to Efika?"

bbrv says:

Quote:
Dear Sir, please inform us of the license terms for OS4 on all Genesi platforms, including the EFIKA.

For you to know, we also plan to reinitiate support for MorphOS simultaneously.

We actually think this will help the overall Amiga market and hope you agree.

Best regards,
Raquel and Bill

Bill gets a POSTIVE reply and posts:
"We have had an answer. We have just ask if we can post it here. The first indications are *very* positive!"

And I say, "Are you kidding me???" All the crap you post on here with you're little Peg/Efika games and you've never even thought to contact Amiga Inc.? Did you think this whole time someone on the Amigaworld website would have the power to grant you a port? WOW Some business man! I don't really believe all this, I think you're playing some PegPong here with us.

OK so anyway, Bill gets a positive reply from Amiga Inc... then in TRUE BBRV fashion he goes on to post:

Amiga is far from being a commercial entity of any sort.

Genesi's judgment against Amiga Inc. notwithstanding (that means set this aside, forget it, and pretend it never happened), Amiga Inc. wherever it is domiciled has serious problems

highlighting the problems of Amiga Inc... etc....

Which begs a couple of questions... like WHY are you emailing a company and trying to do business with them when they have so many problems?

Another questions I would have is, Bill, do you think putting down, in a public forum, the company you are trying to contact and get something going with is a SMART idea? Do you think bringing up LAWSUITS is going to help you start a business relation ship with Amiga Inc. like you "claim" you are trying to do? I think this is all just a game to make you look like a good guy, so you can say, "Hey I tried to contact them, they never followed up." Well why the hell would they ever respong to you now that you trash them in public?

It's ALWAYS games with BBRV. He will not seriously answer any of the questions above, just make some oh so witty remark that is WAY above our little heads. Nope, but I'm sure gary_c will try to explain away Bill's SOOO professional behavior though.

Back in my day, we didn't have water. We only had Oxygen & Hydrogen, & we'd just shove 'em together
