And at this point DE in essence would end up in Bolten's hands likely as he has an open judgement against Amiga Washington.

Not familiar with this part of the story, what's this open judgement about? |
Amiga Washington has judgements for money against it from former employees and I believe their old landlord. Amiga Washington sold its Intellectual Property but supposedly not its debts (according to Bill). Yet the same players appear involved (Bill, Fleecy, Ray Akey, Pentti Kouri). The legality of this has been questioned by the community for a long time, let alone the morality of it. Bill has refused to make good on the old debts, his answer has been, in essence, "Amiga Washington owes them, and Amiga Washington is broke, sorry but they owe me too". Yet if they sold their IP where did the money for the IP sale go, why was no one paid who had a judgement to any degree at all?
Search for "Bolten Peck" here and on Amiga.org as well as google for more info. Also search about the landlord auction of Amiga's computers when Amiga Washington was kicked out of their offices at the time, for not paying the rent. Last edited by fairlanefastback on 13-Jun-2007 at 03:07 PM.
