I would like to think so, but is Hyperion interested in a deal any more? Will they instead go on the offensive now that there are known faults in Amiga Inc claims?

I'd be willing to bet they don't. The chances of Hyperion ever accepting such a deal - and thus losing their own contracted right to inherit Amiga lock stock and barrel - would have to be about as close to stone cold zero as you could get.
