@billt

But will Amiga Inc. take the chance? If they may loose the rights to OS4?
Isn't it better just to own the IP and make a deal with Hyperion?

If all rights to OS4 goes to Hyperion they would own the right to publish it
as AmigaOS with the Amiga trademark including boing balls, and logotypes.
Not paying the new Amiga Inc a single cent.

@madtrekker

WOW Hyperion OS sounds much sexier than AmigaOS and there will be no curse attached to the name. So far the name "Amiga" is cursed. Yes it is beautiful. Yes it is hyptonic and lures men into it with their eyes twirling round and round...but the second you touch the name, the curse lurks deep down into your vain. Amiga name should stick only to Commodore-Amiga as an awesome classic console entertainment system of 80s and 90s and should be respected and loved as that.

I am looking forward for HyperionOS over AmigaOS anytime. The OS is the same and the name is sexier with no attachment to the cursed name "Amiga".
