What's in a name? What's in a name?
Hyperion OS4 would do as well as MorphOS in the market and how many people out there know what MorphOS is compared to Amiga?
The Amiga branded OS has much much more potential. It seems incredibly obvious to me. I'm more excited about buying an AmigaOS than I am an Hyperion OS. In fact I'd rather it was bundled as a complete system like a Mac. That's the only reason I sat back on the A1s, because as far as I am concerned if it's just a motherboard it ain't an Amiga. Same if it's just a SAM440. I don't need Hyperion OS any more than I need BEOS, but it would be cool to have a new Amiga. The point is subtle.
And while we're at it. MorphOS is a much cooler name than HyperionOS.
An Amiga branded OS is the only chance of breaking free of the status quo. Otherwise, it stays like it is, or worse will continue to slowly die.
Amiga, is the only name that the majority of the fans will truly rally behind.
Ok. Going back to my happy place now.
