You missed the most telling paragraph, the un-naming -- it goes right to the end-game:
Quote:
47. ... Hyperion is entitled to an injunction prohibiting Amiga Delaware from using the name "Amiga" in its corporate name, in corporate sponsorships of public facilities, and from using the Amiga trademarks ...
Scott Woodall
Public facilities, like the Amiga Events Center in Kent, WA. Wow they even worked that in.
But yes this is as you say going right for the end-game. Amiga Delaware appears to be using the Amiga name it has no rights to and Amiga Washington is dead and buried as a company.
Will this mean when addressing Bill McEwen going forward it will go something like this?:
Hello Bill, acting President of KMOS/Itec, (part of the family of Pentti Kouri companies) TM!!
Forgot to mention that in my last post. I find it hard to believe that Hyperion can achieve this, but if they really can then it is really going to grab Amiga Inc by the balls. I think that was just dropped in there to make Amiga's lawyers sweat a little. I think Amiga Inc will have really screwed this up if they can't produce enough evidence to block this. Still it is funny!
