For the context of corporate book keepings, it's not such a bad idea. I mean, given that the complexity of corporate book keepings are about as complex and very much related to legal issues, it makes perfekt sense. Although, I doubt it's a topic that will occur often in these forums and therefore it feels a bit "overkill" to formulate a common terminology for it with our own special acronyms and all. :P
