show me proof. because you see there were thousands in my area that were left out in the cold with two months of back wages because of factories going bankrupt. unfortunately in the grand scheme of things these events are unimportant so nobody got any attention. all they got out of the bankruptcy was partial pay(taken from the sale of assets several months later) and unemployment. the ones that qualified was able to get welfare but you literally have to lose everything to get that.

I still think that an insolvent company with no chance of sorting out their outstanding debts shoud file for bankruptcy, giving creditors, including former employees, a chance to get whatever is possible out of any remaining assets.
